A safe in-person space for people of South Asian heritage.

About this service

​

Peepal is our new social peer support group space for people of South Asian heritage living with HIV. The meetings are held face-to-face at NAZ's office.

​

Who can use this service?

​

If you identify as a South Asian you are welcome in this space! This means that your heritage is either South Asian or mixed heritage. This includes cis, trans and also gender non-conforming people who feel comfortable centring the South Asian experience. The following countries make up South Asia:

​

  • Afghanistan

  • Bangladesh

  • Bhutan

  • India

  • The Maldives

  • Nepal

  • Pakistan

  • Sri Lanka

 

If you are unsure whether this is the right group for you don't hesitate to contact us. The group is for all ages and encourages inter-generational sharing of experiences.

What can I EXPECT AT THE GROUP?

 

You can expect a friendly social support space for people of South Asian heritage living with HIV to connect, create and collaborate. Come join us at NAZ's office and make inspiring new friends!

Of course, as long as they also identify as South Asian and are living with HIV.

The group meeting takes place on the last Thursday of every month, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm
