knowing me,
knowing you - aha!

Join our unique 10-week therapeutic journey (Level I) with a closed group of Black, Brown and Global Majority LGBTQI++ adults.

The 10 week programme provides a safe space for individuals wanting to work on their self-esteem, build self-awareness, self-acceptance, and self-confidence so that they may improve the relationships with themselves and others, including romantic partners. This programme also aims to improve work/life balance by setting goals, gaining tools, and creating support systems to help reduce anxiety and depressive symptoms.

The programme uses a therapeutic model called "Layers of Personality" which gives the opportunity for each participant to explore the realities impacting their personality and learn from both the culturally aware facilitators and the shared wisdom of the group.

what benefits can I expect to receive?

Group therapy can be a useful and effective resource to come to an understanding and awareness of one’s realities, through sharing experiences and learning from the group and with facilitators. Together, through exercises and input by the facilitators, participants can arrive at solutions and resolutions to what may be causing distress in their lives. The opportunity to voice one’s difficulties and hear from others' experiences, and for that to be heard and resonated with by a group in a safe, facilitated environment, can be a good way for individuals to heal, grow, and form supportive friendships and networks.
